ABOUT US
MK Holding is one of the leading holding companies in Southeast Europe specialised in investments in agri-business and real estate (under the banner of two sub-holdings MKG Agrinvestment and MKG Properties). MK Holding consolidates assets initiated by MK Commerce (subsequently renamed MK Group), established in 1989 as the company for crop production and export. At first, the Company’s operations were focused on trading with agricultural products and machines, which were then expanded to crop and sugar production. Over the years, the Company has grown into a large and stable business system, consisting of dozens of member companies.
MK Holding’s core activities include agribusiness, tourism and real-estate projects. It is led by the seasoned managerial team and strong corporate governance (at one point it included EBRD as a minority owner, plus IFIs such as IFC, DEG and other banks as creditors). With a dominant market share in Serbia (70% of sugar, 30% of crops) and stable profit growth, MK Holding, led by vision of its founder, Miodrag Kostić, makes wise business decisions on the road to progress and success.
